Your first thought might be, “what’s this real estate agent doing talking about money? I didn’t think that was his business.” You’d be right in a lot of ways, but here are a few reasons it’s critical… 

why does your real estate agent care about your lender?

-I take a holistic approach to your home buying experience. One of the things that I have learned for certain in my 12 years of real estate experience is that your lender can make or break a deal. 

I’m not going to bad mouth anyone – that’s definitely not my MO. What I will say is that you should get the same positive feelings about your lender as you do about your real estate broker.

My opinion is also to work locally whenever possible, which is why I have partnered with several local lenders in town that I trust to be reliable, competent, and honest.

These aren’t folks that turn off their phones at 5pm on Friday in the middle of a stressful transaction. They’re the sort of folks that will work tirelessly to ensure that your pre-qualification paperwork is in order for the last minute offer you and I put together, and that the rest of the paperwork is dialed in for a smooth transaction.
